Linsey Godfrey Returns to DAYS OF OUR LIVES!
Sarah is back and she’s bringing the drama as Linsey Godfrey returns to DAYS OF OUR LIVES! Look for her to first appear on Tuesday, May 30, and be ready for plenty of juicy twists and turns to come!
Godfrey took over the role of Sarah Horton back in October 2018 and left in March 2021. She returned in January 2022 to continue telling Sarah’s story, but exited again in March 2023. However, seeing that she had moved to Chicago with Rex while being pregnant with ex-husband Xander’s baby, viewers knew that particular plot thread had to be picked up again eventually!
Godfrey told Soap Opera Digest she was “very happy to be back” at DAYS. Though she also admitted that Sarah might not be so happy to be plunged back into the drama! “This is the antithesis of what Sarah would want to happen,” the actress explained. “She moved to Chicago to be far away from anything like this and to keep this secret.”
Godfrey made her daytime debut playing Caroline Spencer on CBS sudser THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL from 2012-18, earning three Daytime Emmy Awards during her run. After joining DAYS as the new Sarah in 2018, she added another Emmy nod to her resume in 2019.
Sarah left Xander to be with Gwen, so how might she react to finding out that he is now living with Chloe? And how will Xander react when he finds out that his ex has a bun in the oven that is very clearly his?
