DAYS Star Lucas Adams Is Engaged to Shelby Wulfert!
Congratulations are in order for DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Lucas Adams (Tripp), who is engaged to marry his girlfriend — sorry, fiancée! — Shelby Wulfert! “Well, I asked my best friend a question the other day,” he posted to Instagram. And it’s clear from the smiles on their faces — as well as the diamond engagement ring she’s excitedly showing off, that the answer was a resounding yes!
Over on her own Instagram account, Wulfert shared a series of pics of the pair on their hike where he popped the question. “I said, ‘Of course I will, baby!’” she declared. “Y’all, I’m gonna marry my best friend!” To which Adams replied: “I love you so much!” with a series of heart emojis for good measure. And just to one-up her beau, Wulfert replied to his Instagram post with “I love you to infinity!”
The couple celebrated their fifth anniversary of dating back in October 2020. “I love you more than anything in the universe and I am so grateful to be able to love you more and more every day,” Adams declared at the time. “You are my world, sweetheart. Happy anniversary, Shelby, here’s to so many more. Love you always.”
Thankfully, Adams’ real-life love life is much happier than poor Tripp, who has been having quite a rough go of it lately!
