Nadia Bjorlin Is Leaving DAYS OF OUR LIVES

As Chloe makes plans to leave for New York City with Philip on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, that sadly marks the end of Nadia Bjorlin’s most recent run on the soap. (And also John-Paul Lavoisier’s exit as Philip Kirakis at the same time.) Soap Opera Digest confirmed the sad news in their new issue.

Bjorlin has come and gone from Salem quite a lot over the years since her debut back in 1999. Her first run as Chloe ended in 2003, and then she recurred from 2004-05 before returning full-time in 2007. That stint lasted until 2011, after which she popped in for a couple of brief appearances in 2013 and again for DAYS’ 50th anniversary in 2015. After another short run in January 2016, Bjorlin came back on contract in June. She then exited in 2019 but was back again in August 2020 for another three years.

In addition to her work on DAYS, Bjorlin has also appeared in episodes of primetime series like NCIS, TWO AND A HALF MEN, and CSI, movies like A Mermaid for Christmas and Alone, as well as streaming soaps like VENICE THE SERIES and BEACON HILL.

After her relationship with Brady fell apart, Chloe rebounded with Xander, which didn’t work because both of them were really in love with other people. After she and Xander called off their wedding, Chloe reconnected with Philip and the pair decided to go to New York City together and try to make a fresh start.

But given how often Bjorlin comes and goes from DAYS, perhaps one day we’ll see Chloe winging her way back to Salem? (With or without Philip, depending on how things go!) Stay tuned to find out!
