Shawn Christian Reveals His Exciting New Job!
Although best known as an actor, Shawn Christian is embarking on a new career! He’ll still be appearing on camera, but this time as an on-air host for Outside Lake Tahoe for Lake Tahoe TV! “A new adventure has begun!” he enthused on Instagram. “I’m so thrilled to be part of the Outside family… sharing stories of adventure, culture, and entertainment!”
Christian’s show, TAHOE TONIGHT, airs at 6 p.m., 8 p.m., and 11 p.m. PST on Lake Tahoe Television Channel 12. However, fans who don’t live in the area can still stream the show online. “Watch anywhere in the world on our apps,” he reported. “Outside Watch and Outside+! Create a life of adventures!”
Christian made his television debut playing Mike Kasnoff on AS THE WORLD TURNS in 1994. After leaving the CBS soap in 1997, the actor appeared in numerous episodes of primetime series like PACIFIC PALISADES, ELLEN, CHARMED, BEVERLY HILLS, 90210, FRIENDS, BOSTON LEGAL, LAS VEGAS, FAMOUS IN LOVE, and MAGNUM P.I. throughout his career.
In 2002, Christian returned to daytime to play Ross Rayburn on ABC sudser ONE LIFE TO LIVE, and in 2008, joined the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Dr. Daniel Jonas, a role he portrayed until the character was killed off in 2017.
Christian is currently engaged to his former DAYS co-star Arianne Zucker (Nicole) and they are planning their wedding. The couple resides in the Lake Tahoe area and Christian is active in all kinds of various outdoor activities, so this job is a natural fit for him!
