Steve Burton’s Return Date Revealed!

Tags:

Fans can look forward to seeing Steve Burton back on TV very soon! Unfortunately for fans of GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Jason, he’s reprising his role of Harris on DAYS OF OUR LIVES and returning to Salem, not Port Charles.

Back at the start of his career in the ‘80s, Burton got his big break playing Harris Michaels on DAYS in 1988. He then went on to star in the primetime series OUT OF THIS WORLD from 1987-91 and joined the cast of GH in 1992. The actor also had a stint in CBS Daytime playing Dylan McAvoy on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS from 2013-17.

Burton reprised his role of Harris Michaels for the second season of the DAYS spinoff BEYOND SALEM, where his character was working as a henchman for the villainous Megan Hathaway. Following the conclusion of the mini-series, it was announced that not only would Bo and Hope be returning to DAYS, but so would Megan and Harris.

Megan is already back, having recently been revealed to be the one behind faking Marlena, Kate, and Kayla’s deaths, and Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso will be back as Bo and Hope on Thursday, March 16. However, it will be just a little bit longer before Burton is seen again as Harris.

“I thought it was March 16th, but the actual day is March 20th,” Burton admitted in a recent episode of his That’s Awesome! With Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson podcast. “So set your calendar, Peacock! March 20th! It’s going to be fun. Finally, the time has come!”

So mark your calendars for Monday, March 20, and stream Steve Burton’s return to soaps on Peacock to see what trouble Harris is going to stir up this time around!
