Claire is feeling better and ready to return home to Salem, but is she truly reformed? For his part, John is thrilled when Marlena informs him, “Claire won’t be staying here with us.” But then where in Salem will she settle? And will she stir up even more trouble this time?
Gabi continues to insist that Jake is really Stefan, so she’s naturally upset to find him making out with another woman in the garage. “Get your nasty paws off my husband!” Gabi spits at the interloper. But is she right, or is Jake his own man?
Lani and Eli publicly share the news of the baby they have on the way, but is Lani really ready to go through this given what happened the last time? “I’m scared,” she tearfully confesses to Eli in private. Babies are also on the minds of Rafe as well as Will and Sonny. But when pregnant teen Allie asks, “Do you want to adopt my baby?” to whom is she offering the child?
In addition to babies, weddings are all the rage in Salem this summer as Ben and Ciara prepare to walk down the aisle, as are Justin and Kayla, Lani and Eli, and Eric and Nicole. But which of these four couples will actually get to become man and wife? Weddings in Salem never run smoothly, and it looks like Eric and Nicole’s is going to be one you definitely want to RSVP for as Sami gets into a massive fight with Nicole at the ceremony!
And prepare yourself for some major returns as Jake comes face-to-face with Vivian, who takes one look at the mechanic and tearfully calls him, “My son.” Claire is reunited with parents Shawn-Douglas and Belle, and Victor invites Phillip Kiriakis back into the fold to get the family back on track. “Welcome home, son,” Victor declares as Xander turns angrily to see the long-lost Kiriakis heir enter the living room.
