A First Look at Bryan Craig's Exciting New Role!

Sorry for fans hoping for Bryan Craig to bring Morgan back from the dead on GENERAL HOSPITAL because the talented actor has just joined the cast of GOOD TROUBLE for the fourth season! The first episode of season four will premiere on Wednesday, March 9, at 10 p.m. ET on Freeform (and stream the next day on Hulu). “Very happy to be a part of this,” Craig enthused on Instagram after the news broke. “Thanks to everyone who made it happen.”

GOOD TROUBLE follows the residents of downtown Los Angeles’ The Coterie as they juggle career, love, and life in their ‘20s. Craig will be playing Joaquin, a new character on the series who is an independent investigative journalist with a mysterious background. Twilight’s Booboo Stewart is also joining the cast of the series in its fourth season in the recurring role of Luca, an unhoused man Joaquin is doing a story on and befriends.

Craig became an instant fan favorite when he joined the cast of GH back in 2013, and was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger Actor during his years on the soap, taking home the golden statuette in both 2016 and 2017. Although Morgan met a tragic fate in 2016, Craig did reprise the role for a ghostly appearance in 2018 for a special episode where Ava Jerome was haunted by her past.

Since leaving daytime, Craig appeared in independent films like The Ride, American Fighter, and the award-winning Women Is Losers. He also starred in the CW military show VALOR as Adam Coogan, and played Javi Mendoza in the sadly short-lived primetime soap GRAND HOTEL. Most recently, Craig guest-starred in an episode of WALKER working alongside fellow GH alum Lindsey Morgan (ex-Kristina), who played Micki Ramirez on the CW drama.

So while GH fans may not be getting Morgan back in Port Charles, they will be getting Craig back on their TV screens again. Don’t miss the fourth season premiere of GOOD TROUBLE! You don’t really get a good look at the actor in the new teaser, but check it out for a preview of the drama to come!
