Ava and Grace Scarola Star in ‘The Missing Twin!’
Ever since their debut as little Avery on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Ava and Grace Scarola have been fan favorites! And while the twins have made appearances in primetime series like GRAND HOTEL, WHY WOMEN KILL, AND 9-1-1: LONE STAR, they’re about to star in their first movie, The Missing Twin! After sharing that February was shaping up to be a busy month for them, the twins shared a snap from their latest project. “First day on set for our film!” they (well, technically, their mom) declared on Instagram. “We are so excited to be in our element.”
Although a subsequent post said they “can’t wait to share details about this project,” it could be they’re on set shooting The Missing Twin, which is currently listed as in production on the IMDb! From writer/director Julia Jay Pierrepont III, the movie centers around Jenny, a popular “Mommy and Me” blogger, who is haunted by the feeling that her young daughter’s twin, who supposedly died in childbirth, is actually still alive!
Grace Scarola is listed as playing Lily Markham, while her twin, Ava, is playing Lily/Milly Markham. So it sounds like Ava is portraying the presumed-dead twin in this particular tale. Unfortunately, as it’s still early in production, the credits are not yet finalized, and we have no information as to when or where you’ll be able to see The Missing Twin once it’s completed.
