Dieterich Gray Is Playing Gossip Columnist Adrian DeWitt on GH

If the gossip columnist Adrian DeWitt on GENERAL HOSPITAL looks familiar and you can’t quite place the guy, there’s a very good reason for that! Portrayer Dieterich Gray has quite an extensive resume in film and television so you’ve likely seen him in one of his other roles.

Gray has made appearances in episodes of series like AMERICAN HORROR STORY, UNCLE BUCK, FRESH OFF THE BOAT, CRIMINAL MINDS, WESTWORLD, S.W.A.T., LETHAL WEAPON, THE MANDALORIAN, LUCIFER, and PERRY MASON. 

GH isn’t even the actor’s daytime debut. His credits also include a 2017 episode of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL where he played the character Shifty, a loan shark who had lent Sally Spectra money to relaunch Spectra Fashions and wanted her to pay up.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Gray will appear on GH the week of March 4 in scenes with Alexis and Nina, but there’s no indication at this point whether it’s just for the one episode or if this could become a recurring role. Actor David Lautman made multiple appearances as sleazy reporter Grant Smoltz back in 2022. 

If Nina is intending to use Adrian’s gossip column to stir up trouble for Drew and Carly, the guy could potentially have a lot of work ahead of him. Plus, if he’s going to be reporting on the gossip in Port Charles, he’d be kept busy for a lifetime!
