Dominic Zamprogna Is Now a U.S. Citizen!
Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Dominic Zamprogna (ex-Dante) on becoming a naturalized citizen of the United States! The actor shared a photo of his Certificate of Naturalization on Instagram, although he had to post it a second time because he forgot to censor some sensitive information the first time around! “New post with the removed important immigration info that I probably should’ve omitted the first time around. Don’t steal my height! And… I still get to vote!”
Zamprogna was born in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada and attended the University of Toronto. After appearing in the movie The Boys Club, he was cast as Mark Deosdade, one of the lead roles in the Canadian teen drama series Edgemont for five seasons. Zamprogna moved to Los Angeles and joined the cast of GH as Dante Falconeri in 2009, exiting in 2018 but returning for a couple of short stints that year and in 2019. (He recently declared that he’s “ready to come home” to GH, so hopefully, that happens!)
He married his wife, Linda, in 2009 and they have three daughters together, Anbilliene, Eliana, and Adeline. We’re sure they’re going to give Dad a great big party to celebrate his new citizenship! Congratulations!
