GH Alum Ronnie Marmo Proudly Announces His Daughter’s Engagement!
Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Ronnie Marmo (ex-Ronnie) on the new addition to his family! His daughter, Brittany Marmo is engaged to marry Alycia Tellez!
“My beautiful daughter B Mo (Brittany) is getting married!” Marmo enthused on Instagram on May 29, sharing some beautiful photos from the candlelit proposal as well as the moment he and his wife, Janelle, got the news and saw the engagement ring! “And I am gaining an incredible daughter, Alycia. I’m beyond happy for these two amazing women!”
Of course, while the parents’ delighted faces in the FaceTime screenshot are genuine, they weren’t entirely surprised by the couple’s big news! “We’ve been holding in this secret since Alycia asked me for my blessing,” Marmo revealed. “I melted! She had to pick me up off the floor. I had always hoped for that and it was so special to me. My heart is full… Onward we go, indeed.”
Marmo joined the cast of GH back in 2009 as police detective Ronnie Dimestico, a short-term role that ended up lasting until 2012 as the character turned from a good guy determined to bring down the mob in Port Charles to a bad guy who framed others for his crimes, attacked dancers, and kidnapped Sam and Lulu!
Thankfully, Marmo’s real life has gone quite a bit better, and after popping the question to girlfriend Janelle Gaeta back in December 2021, the couple tied the knot in July 2022. And now they’re going to be getting all dressed up again to attend Brittany and Alycia’s nuptials.
After such a beautiful proposal, we can’t wait to see the wedding photos!
