GH’s Haley Pullos Faces Lawsuit Over DUI Crash

The man whom Haley Pullos injured during an April 29 car accident has filed a lawsuit against the GENERAL HOSPITAL star. Following the horrific car crash in Pasadena, Pullos was arrested for driving while intoxicated and temporarily recast as Molly on the soap. Now, according to TMZ, the actress is being sued by the other driver.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Courtney Wilder alleges that it is directly Pullos’ fault that he was seriously injured and taken to the hospital after she plowed into his vehicle. Pullos, who cops say was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, was driving on a freeway when she swerved, went over the dividing barrier, and into oncoming traffic, colliding with another vehicle that was traveling about 60 mph. Wilder says he “didn’t have time to react when he saw headlights coming his way” and crashed head-on into Pullos’ car. As a result, Wilder was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

At the scene of the crash, Pasadena PD officers searched Pullos’ car and found weed edibles and mini bottles of tequila. They also reported that the actress smelled like alcohol, had watery eyes, and had slurred speech. Additionally, Pullos allegedly hit a firefighter who was assessing her injuries and shouted that she was wearing a $400 shirt.

In his claim, Wilder references the incident between Pullos and the first responder, saying that he was shocked to hear about her outburst and that she cared more about an “overpriced shirt” than the safety of the crash victims. Wilder also claims that Pullos should have stopped driving after the hit-and-run accident she was involved in earlier that night — and that she should never have been operating a car at all after mixing alcohol and weed edibles.

As a result of the crash, Wilder reports in the documents, he has been left with lasting injuries to his body, and his car was totaled. Wilder is suing Pullos for damages.

Pullos was reportedly seen entering the Malibu Detox and Residential Treatment Center on May 17, but it’s unknown if she is still at the facility. At this time, the GH actress has not made any other comment regarding her accident besides her initial statement to Soap Opera Digest that she was taking medical leave to recover from an automobile accident.
