Gregory Harrison Joins the Cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gregory Chase is going to be getting a new face on GENERAL HOSPITAL! The soap has recast the role of Finn and Chase’s father with veteran television actor Gregory Harrison. According to Entertainment Weekly, he began filming his first episode this week, so he should begin airing by the end of the month.
Harrison will be familiar to TV viewers from his roles on popular primetime series like TRAPPER JOHN, M.D., FALCON CREST, and SISTERS. More recently he could be seen in RIZZOLI & ISLES and CHESAPEAKE SHORES. GH will mark the actor’s daytime debut.
The character of Gregory Chase first appeared back in June 2018 and was played by actor James Read for that appearance and a subsequent one later that fall. Read has also played the villainous Clyde on DAYS OF OUR LIVES and may have been unavailable to tape Gregory’s upcoming scenes.
With Finn preparing to get married, it’s only natural that Gregory would want to be a part of his son’s big day even though they do not see eye to eye. And the reason for their estrangement is Gregory’s current wife, Jackie Templeton, who is Chase’s mom and recently returned to Port Charles herself! So get ready for the drama to explode!
