GH’s Johnny Wactor and Chloe Lanier Guest on STATION 19
Get ready to see some familiar faces from Port Charles in primetime! If you’ve been missing Johnny Wactor (ex-Brando) and Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle) on GENERAL HOSPITAL, the two actors are guest-starring in the episode of STATION 19 airing on Thursday, March 16, at 8 p.m. on ABC!
The episode, titled “Even Better Than the Real Thing,” features a simulation fire training that goes dangerously wrong. Meanwhile, Maya tries to make amends, Bailey encourages Carina to listen, and Jack’s sister appears at the station with a friend, an injury, and an attitude.
Wactor will be playing Lt. Cooper in the episode, and he shared photos on Instagram of himself dressed up in his firefighting gear. GH co-star Kelly Thiebaud (ex-Britt), who has appeared on STATION 19 as Eva Vasquez, shared her excitement by cheering “Yay! That’s my show! Bravo!” Unfortunately, Thiebaud is not in this episode. “I was hoping we would’ve gotten to reunite on it!” Wactor admitted. “Miss ya, Kelly. Enjoy London!”
Wactor joined the cast of GH in January 2020 as Brando Corbin, part of Sonny Corinthos’ extended family. Fans enjoyed his romance with Sasha and were heartbroken when his character was killed off in September 2022 when Brando became one of The Hook’s many victims.
Lanier will be playing the role of Clara and shared an Instagram selfie from her dressing room showing off a bloody chin courtesy of the show’s makeup department. “I get into a bit of trouble this Thursday on STATION 19,” the actress joked. “Directed by the incomparable and lovely Paris Barclay! (I’m a big fan.) Had such a great time working on this one and I can’t wait for you all to see it.”
First appearing as a young Pat Spencer in a special GH anniversary episode in 2015, Lanier returned to the soap as the scheming Nelle Benson in August 2016. She continued to play the role on and off until the character was killed off in September 2020, though she did appear for one episode in September 2022. Since then, Lanier has gone on to appear in primetime series like NCIS: HAWAII and 9-1-1.
So make sure you tune in to see Wactor and Lanier on STATION 19, and if you miss the Thursday night airing on ABC, you can always stream the episode on Hulu beginning the following day!
