Fans love interacting with their favorite stars on social media, but they also have to be very careful because there are some dangerous scammers out there hiding behind fake accounts. And GENERAL HOSPITAL star Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) wants fans to know that if they see him on TikTok, it’s not him!

“I’ve been kicked off TikTok!” the actor enthused in an Instagram video, clearly enjoying the way those words all sound together. He then went on to explain the situation… while also repeating “kicked off TikTok” a few more times for good measure!

“I wanted to let you know something,” Lindstrom said. “If you’re following me on TikTok, you’re not following me on TikTok. Why? Because I’m not on TikTok! I’ve been kicked off TikTok! That’s because less than a month after I began to upload videos to TikTok, I got kicked off TikTok. Why? Because I violated their authenticity and integrity guidelines. Which means I’m not me.”

He laughed at the idea and then shared his theory of what might have happened. “The only thing I can assume is that there was already an imposter pretending to be me who convinced them that he was me. Or she was me. Whoever was behind this.”

Having spent decades on GH as well as many years on its spin-off, PORT CHARLES, as well as a run as Craig Montgomery on CBS sudser AS THE WORLD TURNS among his daytime roles (not to mention his numerous appearances in film and primetime), Lindstrom has garnered numerous fans over his career. So he wants to make sure that those people know if they see any version of Jon Lindstrom on TikTok, it’s not him and those accounts should be reported.

“Now, I was supposed to be able to appeal that through the app,” he added of his expulsion from the social media platform, “but since they’ve deleted my profile, there is no way for me to appeal that, whether through a computer or on the TikTok app.”

Still, fans can continue interacting with Lindstrom and keeping up to date on his activities (like his recently published novel!) by following the daytime star on his official Facebook, X/Twitter, and Instagram accounts!
