Jon Lindstrom Reveals the Cover of His Debut Novel!

Tags:

It is an exciting day for GENERAL HOSPITAL star Jon Lindstrom (Kevin), who is one step closer to seeing his debut novel on bookshelves! Crooked Lane Books has revealed the cover for the actor’s first story, Hollywood Hustle, set for release on Feb. 6, 2024.

Lindstrom unveiled the brightly colored cover himself in a video shared on his social media channels. “Today is the day of the cover reveal of my very first novel,” the excited GH star said. “Check it out.”

Hollywood Hustle is a gripping thriller set in the dark underbelly of the Los Angeles film industry. The story follows has-been film star Winston Greene, who wakes up one morning to find his young granddaughter at his bedside — traumatized, unattended, and gripping a thumb drive. The video on the thumb drive is proof that the young girl’s mother, Win’s troubled adult daughter, has been kidnapped by a murderous gang demanding all his “movie money” for her safe return. But they don’t know that Win’s money is long gone. Unable to turn to the police, Winston recruits two close friends for help rescuing his daughter: a legendary Hollywood stuntman and a disgraced former LAPD detective. Will they be able to beat the kidnappers at their own game?

“This is a big deal for me,” said Lindstrom, who has narrated a host of audiobooks, of seeing his first novel being marketed for print. “I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.”

Lindstrom explained that his publishers at Crooked Lane and the distributors at Penguin Random House went back and forth on several different designs for Hollywood Hustle, as well as multiple titles. “This is the one we’ve settled on,” he revealed. “I think it just rocks. It just feels contemporary but gives you a sense of darkness and foreboding. Which is a book I’d like to read.”

The thriller is currently available for preorder at Target, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers. “If it’s the kind of crime novel you like, I hope you really enjoy it,” Lindstrom concluded. “I feel so blessed and grateful.”

We wish Lindstrom all the best on this exciting new… ahem, chapter… in his life as an author!
