Die-hard daytime fans are going to want to check out Netflix on Wednesday, December 13: The latest Christmas movie to drop that day on the streaming platform, Holiday in the Vineyards, features Josh Swickard (Chase, GENERAL HOSPITAL), Eileen Davidson (Ashley, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), and Annika Noelle (Hope, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL)!

Produced by ESX Entertainment — the same company behind Swickard’s A California Christmas movies — the film is set in the fictional wine country of Los Santos, California, and was filmed at several actual Los Angeles-area wineries. Swickard headlines the movie as irresponsible big-city playboy Carter, who is on a mission to acquire a small vineyard for his family’s cheap-o wine empire. Sol Rodriguez (from STAR TREK: PICARD) is Valentina, a young widow raising two small boys who is also the real estate broker trying to protect the small vineyard. Carter is sent off to the vineyard incognito and is posing as a carpenter when he crosses paths with Valentina. While staying in Valentina’s rental apartment for the holidays, Carter finds it increasingly more difficult to hide his true identity from her while getting closer to the single mom and her two sons. Once his secret is exposed, Carter may need a Christmas miracle for Valentina to forgive him!

Noelle plays Emma in the movie, while Davidson takes on the role of Carter’s mother, Margo. On Instagram, the Y&R star shared a clip from Holiday in the Vineyards (which you can watch below) that shows Carter is not too pleased when his mom sends him off to scout out the property!

“As we unwrap the joy of the holiday season, I’m thrilled to reach this significant milestone with Netflix to launch our tenth film with the renowned streaming platform,” said producer Ali Afshar of ESX Entertainment in a statement. “ESX Productions understands the cheer Christmas movies like Holiday in the Vineyards bring and we are confident this heartwarming holiday hit will resonate with audiences worldwide.”

Originally called Wine Country Christmas, production on the film took place earlier this year. Watch this clip for a taste of the fun and then tune in on Dec. 13 to stream the romcom!
