Kristen Alderson Prepares to Welcome Her Baby Girl
It’s nearly time for Kristen Alderson to welcome her baby girl, Kiera! The actress, who soap fans loved as Starr on ONE LIFE TO LIVE and Kiki on GENERAL HOSPITAL, announced at the end of September that she and fiancé Taylor Crousore are expecting their first child together in January 2024.
Alderson shared a beautiful photo of herself cradling her baby bump as she stands silhouetted against the glow of their Christmas tree. “Still waiting on my greatest gift of all,” she declared. “Five weeks until her due date! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!”
The daytime alum also expressed her gratitude for all the love and support she’s been getting throughout her pregnancy journey from her fans. “Thanks, everyone!” she said. “It’s been so incredible sharing this time of my life with you all. I appreciate every ounce of love you always send to me and my growing family.”
Alderson and Crousore have also been recording a podcast called “Expecting You” where they have been documenting all the ups and downs of preparing to have a baby. As she hit week 25 of her pregnancy, the expectant mom joked about her discomfort. “I am starting to feel like there is like, a sack of potatoes… maybe not a sack of potatoes but maybe four potatoes that are at the bottom of my stomach that are like, leaning out from my skin and it feels like it’s gonna break my skin,” she laughed.
On Nov. 26, Alderson and her soon-to-be-hubby celebrated the imminent arrival of their child with a beautiful baby shower which was attended by some of her OLTL castmates. With Kiera arriving towards the end of January or early February, it looks like 2024 is going to be off to a great start for the growing Crousore family. Can’t wait to see the photos of the beautiful baby when she arrives!
