Kristen Alderson Is Pregnant!
Congratulations are in order for daytime alum Kristen Alderson (ex-Kiki, GENERAL HOSPITAL; Starr, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) and her fiancé, Taylor Crousore, who are expecting their first child! The actress announced her pregnancy during a live Twitch stream fundraiser and then posted a video to Instagram. The couple are expecting a baby girl in January 2024.
“Surprise!” Alderson happily announced. “Taylor and I started trying in April of this year, thinking that it could take us a long time to conceive as it does for most people… after only the second month of trying, we found out on May 22 that I’m pregnant!
“What I didn’t know when we found out,” she continued, “was that Taylor had already planned our proposal for July 15! He had bought the ring in April, they had bought his mom’s flight in and everything! The proposal ended up being perfect timing for our gender reveal, and I’ll post a video on that later. To say that we are excited, beyond grateful, and living on cloud nine is an understatement! This has been the most exciting year of our lives. We’re so excited to start sharing everything you all missed this summer! Pregnant!”
“So yesterday I took a test and it was a faint line that I was positive… for pregnancy,” Alderson explains in the video. “And I didn’t really believe it 100% because it was a faint line and they said that the test could be faulty. So I got another test tonight. I just got home from work. It’s midnight. I just had hysterical crying scenes so I look a mess. I’m filming my first movie and I could find out right now. I think it’s ready. It’ll say yes or no. And… she… is.. pregnant!”
After holding up the positive pregnancy test to the camera, music kicks in and the happy parents share video footage of them sharing the big news with their family and friends, including Nic Roebuck (James, OLTL), Brittany Underwood (Langston, OLTL), Robert Adamson (ex-Fen, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), and Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon, GH).
