Preview William deVry’s New Movie!

Back in October 2023, daytime alum William deVry teased that he was shooting a new movie but only shared a behind-the-scenes photo of himself with the cast and crew on location while saying “I think you guys will enjoy this one.”

Well, now we can confirm that the movie is titled A Whitewater Romance, and will be premiering on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, May 11, at 8 p.m. ET! The story centers around Maya, played by Cindy Busby, who attends a business retreat in the Rocky Mountains where she meets Matt, played by Ben Hollingsworth. Although initially pitted against each other, the two are forced to team up and form an unlikely connection. deVry is playing the character of Jim Burdett, and as you can see in the trailer below, he offers Maya some solid advice.

After kicking off his acting career in the mid-90s, deVry found soap success back in 2003 when he was cast as the villainous Michael Cambias on All My Children. He then played Storm Logan on The Bold & The Beautiful before joining the cast of General Hospital as Julian Jerome. Since exiting GH, deVry has appeared in episodes of television like NCIS: Los Angeles and Quantum Leap as well as in the 2023 holiday movie Christmas at the Chalet, opposite Teri Hatcher.
