Fans are already eagerly anticipating seeing soap alum William deVry on TV again with the upcoming premiere of Christmas at the Chalet, and the actor has already teased his next exciting project! “Jason Bourque-directed picture,” the actor shared on Instagram. “I think you guys will enjoy this one.”
The photo that deVry posted on social media shows him among the cast and crew listening to the director while on location next to a river. The actor tagged actress Cindy Busby and hashtagged actor Ben Hollingsworth as well as their location in Squamish, British Columbia.
Unfortunately, deVry didn’t mention the name of the movie or any information about it, so we’re just going to have to wait for him to offer up some more updates as the filming continues. Although Bourque’s IMDb page lists Whitewater Romance as one of his upcoming projects, which could be one of the more likely suspects, given the cast and crew are currently shooting by a big river.
Soap fans have been enjoying deVry’s performances since his very first appearance on PORT CHARLES back in 2002. He then joined the cast of ALL MY CHILDREN as the villainous Michael Cambias, earning a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2004. From 2006-08, he starred on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL as Storm Logan.
GH fans welcomed deVry to Port Charles when he first appeared in 2013 as Derek Wells, who was soon revealed to be Julian Jerome, who wasn’t as dead as everyone thought! Julian’s romance with Alexis became a fan favorite, and viewers were upset when the soap killed the character off in 2020.
Since leaving GH, deVry has continued to entertain fans with appearances on primetime series like NCIS: LOS ANGELES and QUANTUM LEAP. And his holiday film with Teri Hatcher, Christmas at the Chalet, is due out soon.
