Please join us in wishing General Hospital stars Laura Wright (Carly) and Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter) a very happy anniversary! The pair first met all the way back in 2001 when she was playing Cassie Layne on CBS sudser Guiding Light and he joined the cast as Sam Spencer. But it wasn’t until many years later when Wright and Ramsey reconnected at a Daytime Emmy Awards party in 2017 that romance blossomed between them. “Love you to the moon!” Wright enthused on Twitter/X. “Happy 7 baby!”

She also shared a carousel of photos on Instagram with the caption “7 yrs 🦋… Still ❤️4/28” marking their April 28 anniversary date.

In addition to his acting, Ramsey is also a published author so he got a little bit more verbose in his own anniversary post on Instagram. “Time is a gift,” he wrote. “When spent with your best friend, it is an adventure; when spent with the love of your life, it becomes magical.

“Believe in love, discover the mysteries and wonders of life with your own person, you may rediscover yourself along the way,” he continued. “What a gift to share your true self with the one you love… Lucky seven for this grateful guy. Happy Anniversary to this powerful woman!”

Fans and friends wished the couple all the best in the comments on social media, including some of their GH castmates. “Congratulations, you two love birds,” Finola Hughes (Anna) declared. Wright’s TV daughter, Eden McCoy (Josslyn) shared a series of face holding back tears emojis and Kate Mansi opted for heart-eyes emojis. Cameron Mathison (Drew) added: “OMG, so beautiful and amazing.”

We’re sure everyone will join us in wishing this couple a very happy anniversary and all the best for continued happiness together!
