It has been nearly five years since General Hospital star Cameron Mathison (Drew) underwent surgery to remove a tumor on his kidney, and with his latest health update, the actor continues to have good news to share!

“The results are in!” Mathison shared on Instagram with a video of himself at the Prenuvo office. “This is a follow-up health post to my Prenuvo scan a few weeks ago. Very grateful to say, other than a few minor findings, I’m all clear.”

Prenuvo is a whole-body MRI scan that can detect cancerous tumors and hundreds of other medical conditions. The actor also shared the link prenuvo.com/cameron in case any fans wanted to take advantage of a discount on getting a scan of their own.

“As a cancer survivor, obviously super important to me,” Mathison explained in the voiceover of his video. “Results came back, I’m all clear and super, super grateful.”

Mathison first found fame starring as Ryan Lavery on All My Children and has also appeared on Dancing With the Stars, starred in movies for Hallmark and Great American Family, as well as hosted for Entertainment Tonight, Home & Family, and more. He joined the cast of GH as the new Drew Cain in 2021, and while appearing on the soap managed to moonlight as the host of the new game show Beat the Bridge!

It’s wonderful to hear that Mathison remains in remission, and we’re sure everyone wishes him all the best for continued good health and happiness!
