Almost two years after they got engaged, actress Kimberly J. Brown tied the knot with Daniel Kountz on April 19! “We had the most beautiful day of our dreams,” the glowing bride shared on Instagram. “A huge thank you to our family and friends who celebrated with us and surrounded us with so much love.”

Brown first joined the soap world as a child, playing legacy character Marah Lewis on GUIDING LIGHT from 1993 to 1998. In 1996, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Actress category for her portrayal of Josh and Reva’s daughter. After leaving daytime, Brown went on to appear in Disney Channel’s popular Halloweentown movies, which is where she first met Kountz. (Although the two didn’t become romantically involved until they reconnected a few years ago!) The actress returned to soaps in 2021 to play Peter’s henchwoman, Nurse Chloe Jennings, on GENERAL HOSPITAL.

According to People, just 92 guests attended Brown and Kountz’s intimate wedding, which was held at the Spanish Hills Club in Camarillo, CA. Two of the guests also have soap connections: Ashley Jones (Bridget, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) and Lacey Chabert (ex-Bianca, ALL MY CHILDREN), who served as a bridesmaid. On Instagram, Jones shared several photos from the wedding, including a sweet group shot of their “OG Motley Crew” which includes Bachelorette Ali Manno and actress Briana Cuoco, who sang “I Choose You” by Sara Bareilles as Brown walked down the aisle to her groom.

“Congrats Kimberly and Daniel on getting hitched!” Jones wrote. “What a night. Briana singing as you walked down the aisle, Kim, undid me! Then your vows! May we all have someone that looks at us the way Daniel looks at you. Always and forever. Congrats, you two lovebirds.”

Please join us in congratulating the newlyweds! We wish Brown and Kountz a lifetime of happiness together!
