Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey Celebrate Their Anniversary
On April 26, GENERAL HOSPITAL stars Laura Wright (Carly) and Wes Ramsey (Peter) celebrated a very special anniversary! “Three years ago this handsome fella asked for my number,” she shared on Instagram along with a series of beautiful photos of the couple being cute and in love with each other.
Among the well-wishes from GH co-stars and friends like Ingo Rademacher (Jax) and Finola Hughes (Anna), Ramsey himself commented on his lady love’s post. “Best decision I ever made,” he declared.
Wright and Ramsey first met back when they played Cassie and Sam on CBS sudser GUIDING LIGHT back in the early 2000s, but many years later at the 2017 Daytime Emmys, the pair ran into each other at a party on April 26 and the rest is history! “I was joking around with Donnell Turner (Curtis) about the line at the bar and Wesley turned around,” Wright recalled to Soaps In Depth. “I was like, ‘Oh my God! What’s up?’ And that was it.”
The couple first went public with their romance in May of 2017 but Ramsey admitted that he actually fell for her back in 2016 when his sister-in-law was watching GH and Wright was on-screen as Carly. “For 20 years, I’ve thought she’s one of the greatest actors and one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen,” he told us in 2018. “Was I manifesting Laura into my life? I’ve been enamored with that woman my whole life and next thing you know, we were at a Daytime Emmy party. It was hugs and laughter and we’ve been inseparable ever since!”
