Robert Palmer Watkins Teases His Role on S.W.A.T. — See the Pics!

Fans who miss seeing him as Dillon on GENERAL HOSPITAL can enjoy catching Robert Palmer Watkins in primetime again, this time guest-starring in an episode of S.W.A.T. airing on Friday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS! “Catch me on S.W.A.T. tonight!” the actor enthused on Instagram, sharing a series of pics in costume as agent Mason Jones.

In the episode, titled “Whoa Black Betty,” when S.W.A.T.’s armored vehicle is stolen, the squad is forced to team up with FBI Agent Vasquez (guest star Jessica Camacho), a former LAPD officer who was once denied a position on the S.W.A.T. team, to stop the vehicle from being used in a terrorist attack.

Viewers can expect Watkins to get into some serious action during this episode as the guy he’s posing with in the first picture of his Instagram gallery below is not another S.W.A.T. team member but his stunt double, Tim Neff! “Stunts and things for the solid overly-talented homie Robert Palmer Watkins,” the stuntman shared when he shared the pic on his own Instagram. To which Watkins replied: “You are the man! Had a blast working with you, dude!”

Watkins earned tons of loyal fans when he joined the cast of GH in 2015 as a recast of Dillon Quartermaine. After he was written out in 2017, Watkins went on to appear in films like Surviving Theater 9, Revenge for Daddy, and The Nanny Murders. And he’s no stranger to action, having starred in the thriller Last Three Days as well as multiple episodes of THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND. You can also catch him in the new thriller The Final Rose, which recently premiered on Tubi!

So make sure you check out Watkins in his latest role on S.W.A.T. on CBS Friday night or stream it on Paramount+ beginning on Saturday!
