Ryan Paevey Wants You to Join Him at RomaDrama! (EXCLUSIVE)
Wanna meet GENERAL HOSPITAL star turned Hallmark hunk Ryan Paevey? Then the RomaDrama Live! convention in West Palm Beach, Florida, is your chance to make your dreams come true! The much-missed GH star — who played Nathan from 2013 to 2018 before going on to make several hit movies for the cable network — is one of the celebrities scheduled to appear at the festival of romance happening Friday, June 24, through Sunday, June 26, at the Palm Beach Convention Center.
“RomaDrama is a great opportunity for fans to come and meet all of us,” Paevey told Soaps In Depth. “There’s a pretty significant list of known names going. It’s a fun, intimate way to spend some time with your favorite stars of Hallmark movies, daytime stuff, things like that.”
The RomaDrama Live! convention promises fans a full weekend of events with their favorite stars, writers, and directors from Hallmark, GAC, Lifetime, Netflix, and more. Single-day, two-day, and three-day tickets range from $29.99 to $799.99 and are available at RomaDrama.com. Ticket packages offering different levels of celebrity access are also available — like brunch with the stars and a karaoke party — or you can add celebrity experiences to a general admission ticket to customize your ultimate fan experience.
“I’ve done a number of these kinds of conventions, and I really, really like the RomaDrama ones,” Paevey admitted. “I feel like the guest experience, the fan experience is better. It’s good for us, too. You really get to spend some time and hang out. A lot of thought has been put into all of the facets of your experience there. RomaDrama is a really well put together, fun event, where fans can spend some up-close and personal time with us.”
Paevey isn’t the only star scheduled to appear who has made-for-TV movies and soap opera credits to his name. Other participants include Trevor Donovan (ex-Teddy, DAYS OF OUR LIVES), Colin Egglesfield (Joshua, ALL MY CHILDREN), Neal Bledsoe (Quinn, GUIDING LIGHT), Ashley Williams (Dani, AS THE WORLD TURNS), Brian Krause (Matthew, ANOTHER WORLD), and Gregory Harrison, who currently appears on GH as Chase and Finn’s father, Gregory.
In the four years since Paevey parted ways with the soap, he’s become a staple in Hallmark’s rotation of leading men, and even signed a multi-movie deal with the network. But the actor still sees a familiar face every now and then when he participates in fan events like RomaDrama. “I started on GH at the end of 2013, and I see people at some of these conventions that I saw at [daytime fan events] way back in the day,” he marveled. “We get to swap stories about what’s been going on in their life, what’s been going on in mine. It’s kind of a trip.”
