If you’re not getting enough TJ on GENERAL HOSPITAL, you can catch actor Tajh Bellow in the new romantic comedy Calling for Love, premiering on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. ET on UPtv! “See you there!” he announced on Instagram as he urged fans to tune in for the flick.
Calling for Love centers around Bellow’s character of Jake, a mechanic who had a missed connection with a woman whose car he helped fix. Calling in to a radio show where the host tries to reunite lost loves, he gets Sam’s help in tracking down the mystery lady. But naturally, things don’t go according to plan, and unexpected romance blossoms!
“Shout out to our amazing director, Kristen Fairweather, and the loveliest cast and crew that not only made this possible, but a joy to co-create with,” Bellow added happily.
Karissa Lee Staples co-stars as Sam and Emily Vere Nicoll is Jake’s mystery woman, Becky. The film’s cast also includes Bellow’s GH castmate Carolyn Hennesy as Mercy Lewis, another radio host!
Bellow joined the cast of GH back in 2018 as the newest recast of TJ Ashford, and while appearing on the soap has fit in appearances in primetime series like 9-1-1: LONE STAR, BOSCH, and NCIS as well as starring in Calling for Love.
So if you’re missing the romance between TJ and Molly, check out this preview for Bellow’s new rom-com and be sure to tune in for a different kind of love story!
