GENERAL HOSPITAL Alum TK Weaver Injured Again
Boys are always getting into scrapes, but it’s starting to look like TK Weaver (ex-Danny, GENERAL HOSPITAL) is trying to break some kind of record! While still recovering from a bike accident he had in January, the young actor has now broken his foot! “Haven’t been posting much,” his mom shared via his Instagram post. “This one was for his teeth. Oh, he also recently broke a bone in his foot. Always something with this kid.”
In the photo, Weaver is standing on both feet, even though one is in a boot, and while he’s wearing a mask, it does kind of look like he’s smiling! “With all that, he’s looking and feeling pretty good!” Mom added. “Thank you all for your love and support.”
In 2016, Weaver became the first young actor to play the role of Sam and Jason’s son after a series of twins played Danny as an infant and toddler. He even won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series — Recurring Young Actor. But after three years, GH recast the role with Porter Fasullo. Since leaving daytime, Weaver has appeared in commercials, shows such as JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! and HENRY DANGER, and films like The Tragedy of Macbeth and New Year.
Back in January, Weaver’s mom reported that a bike accident had left the young man with a seriously injured face that required not only stitches but also surgery. Thankfully, by the end of the month, things were looking good, and Weaver was recovering from his injuries faster than anyone thought he would. Mom didn’t reveal exactly how her son managed to break a bone in his foot this time around, but we’re starting to think she should start covering the kid in bubble wrap to protect him!
Keep checking back at SoapsInDepth.com for more updates as Weaver recovers (and hopefully no more reports of additional injuries!). Get well soon!
