Yes, That’s GH’s Jacqueline Grace Lopez in the New Honda Commercial!

Soap fans are always happy to see their favorite daytime stars in other projects, and sometimes that includes commercials! Some might recognize GENERAL HOSPITAL newcomer Jacqueline Grace Lopez (Blaze) in a new ad for the Honda Pilot. “Fun spot I shot back in September for the Honda Pilot,” she enthused on Instagram as she shared the commercial as well as some behind-the-scenes snaps from the shoot. “Dare I say this car is a tad sessy? I mean, the backup camera alone… But enough about the car!

“Huge thanks to my Honda hubby Marciel,” she continued, “my team at Daniel Hoff Agency, and the biggest hugs to Zach, Mike, Loan, Erica, and everyone at COTU Media and Honda. Truly a blast to work with. Hope to do it again!”

In the commercial, a boy and girl are enjoying a speedy ride along a dirt road as they head to camp followed by them declaring that the ride to camp was their favorite part of summer camp. When their parents pull up again, all of the kids come rushing over asking for a ride. As the mom, Lopez looks at her husband and shrugs as she responds with a smile: “Sure!” They then adjust the interior of the car to offer more seating to fit everyone inside.

Viewers might also recognize the actor delivering the voiceover at the end of the ad. “I can now say I worked with John Cena, so lower your gaze when you approach me,” Lopez joked.

Lopez actually made a brief appearance on GH back in 2015 as a babysitter but joined the cast properly in November 2022 as Blaze, a singer who duetted with Chase and was involved in Brook Lynn’s sexual harassment storyline with Linc. After that run wrapped in April 2023, the actress returned in September as Blaze signed a new music contract with Brook Lynn and sparked a relationship with Kristina.

So keep an eye out because you never know when you might see Lopez or any other daytime stars in a TV commercial! (We’re still seeing David Lautman (ex-Smoltz) in multiple ad campaigns!)
