A Special Tribute to Daytime Legend Beverlee McKinsey

The Locher Room is holding a very special tribute to the legendary daytime actress Beverly McKinsey on Monday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. ET at this YouTube link.

McKinsey played the scheming Iris Carrington on NBC’s ANOTHER WORLD from 1972 until 1980 and proved so popular she starred in the spin-off, TEXAS. After leaving that soap in 1981, she later joined the cast of CBS sudser GUIDING LIGHT in 1984, playing Alexandra Spaulding until 1992. During her daytime career, McKinsey was nominated four times for the Outstanding Lead Actress Daytime Emmy Award.

Joining host Alan Locher for this special tribute to a daytime legend will be McKinsey’s son, Scott McKinsey as well as her GL co-stars Grant Aleskander (Phillip), Mark Derwin (Mallet), Jay Hammer (Fletcher), and Vincent Irizarry (Lujack/Nick). Don’t miss it!
