Dark Days For Foster?
On DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Quinn Hudson was the guy hired by Kate to stir up trouble for Chloe and who later blackmailed EJ. Might his portrayer, Bren Foster, be someone as equally challenging to contend with when he debuts in a new recurring guest role on THE LAST SHIP, the addictive drama from executive producer Michael Bay?
“Going on set and bringing Senior Chief Wolf Taylor [the Australian naval officer that joins the crew in Norfolk, VA] to life is one of the best experiences in my career so far,” enthuses Foster, who was himself a big fan of the series’ first season. “I’m honored to be surrounded by such an amazing group of talented actors, writers, producers, directors and great crew. From the moment I stepped on set everyone has been extremely welcoming.”
The drama, which deals with a group of sailors who avoided the pandemic that wiped out 80 percent of the world’s population by being out to sea, is shot aboard some of the U.S. Navy’s real-life destroyers. “Being on THE LAST SHIP has really made me appreciate all the men and women in our military. They play a huge part in allowing us to live the way we live,” Foster confesses. “[In the show], we portray life-and-death situations, but as you find yourself in the midst of the scene, you realize that there are people doing this for real every day and for that, they have my deepest gratitude.”
THE LAST SHIP, which stars Eric Dane and features ALL MY CHILDREN’s Charles Parnell (Derek) as a series regular, returns to TNT for its much-anticipated second season next summer.
