OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network revealed today an extended trailer of its new drama series QUEEN SUGAR, which features daytime alums Greg Vaughan (ex-Eric, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Lucky, GENERAL HOSPITAL), Dondré Whitfield (Terrence, ALL MY CHILDREN) and True O’Brien (ex-Paige, DAYS).
The series, from award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay and executive producer Oprah Winfrey, chronicles the lives and loves of the estranged Bordelon siblings in Saint Josephine, Louisiana.

Vaughan plays Calvin, a married cop and lover to Nova Bordelon, played by TRUE BLOOD’s Rutina Wesley. Dondré Whitfield plays Remy, who was a friend and confident to the Bordelon patriarch.
QUEEN SUGAR debuts with a special two-night premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 10 p.m. ET on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. So set your DVRs!
