Tamara Price on DAYS OF OUR LIVES — Everything You Need to Know

Lani’s mother, Tamara Price, has been mentioned on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, but when she attends her daughter’s wedding, some newer viewers might be wondering who this woman is. The character originally appeared in 1986, played by Marilyn McCoo, and she was around for just a little less than a year.

Tamara was introduced as Marlena Evans‘ college roommate who surprised her friend as she was about to marry Roman Brady. Tamara initially clashed with Roman’s friend, Abe Carver, as she cut him off in traffic hurrying to the ceremony. But of course, there is a thin line between love and hate, and those two definitely crossed it!

Tamara got a job singing at Blondie’s, which upset Liz Chandler, because that was her gig. Abe and Tamara began dating, but it was clear that she was keeping something from him. It turned out she was running away from Coleman, a man from her past. When he resurfaced, Coleman confronted Tamara and promised to go legit if she came back to him (though he wouldn’t leave his wife). Abe looked into Coleman’s shady past and was stunned when Tamara announced they had reunited and left town with the guy.

It wasn’t until 2015 when Lani Price admitted that Abe was her father that he learned that Tamara had been pregnant with his child when she left him. So there may be some drama when the pair come face to face at their daughter’s wedding, but hopefully, they can work it out for her sake!
