CBS Daytime fans who also watch THE TALK will recognize a very familiar face when Amanda Kloots guest stars on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL as Lucy! She will be appearing in the episodes airing on Wednesday, Feb. 21, and Thursday, Feb. 22, and is bringing her real-life son, Elvis Cordero, along to play her TV son, Danny.

“Word is out!” Kloots declared on Instagram when news of her casting broke. “I got to spend a day as a soap opera star on B&B working alongside the incredible cast! I grew up watching soaps with my mom, so this was a surreal dream job day!”

A former Rockette who has performed on Broadway in shows like Follies, Young Frankenstein, and Bullets Over Broadway, Kloots is also a fitness instructor with a series of exercise videos. She is probably best known for her role as one of the co-hosts of the CBS talk show, THE TALK, but she has also done a little acting, appearing as herself in an episode of the CBS sitcom THE NEIGHBORHOOD and starring as Audrey in the 2022 CBS TV movie Fit for Christmas.

Kloots was married to actor Nick Cordero from 2017 until his death from COVID-19 complications in 2020. The two welcomed their son, Elvis, in June 2019, and the four-year-old will be working alongside his mom when she appears on B&B. The mother and son will be playing Lucy and Danny alongside Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Sophia Paras as Steffy and Kelly.

Unfortunately, as the B&B preview for the week teased, Danny and Kelly’s playdate doesn’t quite go as smoothly as their moms might have hoped! So tune in to watch all the drama unfold!
