Ashley Jones and Winsor Harmon Return to B&B
Fans might be excited to know that two fan-favorite characters are returning to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL but depending on the reason they’re back, it might not be such a happy occasion! Ashley Jones is coming back as Bridget Forrester and Winsor Harmon will be reprising his role of Thorne Forrester.
“Love being back at it with my favorite work family ever,” Jones enthused on Instagram, sharing a selfie from her dressing room. “And to you that never stop asking for Bridget — they hear you! Been a very busy couple weeks. Want to tell you everything soon! Lots of stuff to shoot today!”
TV Insider is reporting that Thorne will first appear in the episode scheduled to air on Tuesday, Dec. 5, which Bridget showing up the following day on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Jones hasn’t appeared since June 2022 when Bridget and Quinn caught Eric with Donna at the athletic club. And the last time Harmon played Thorne was in B&B’s 35th anniversary episode back in March 2022 when the character appeared to Brooke as she envisioned all her past loves.
Eric’s health has been failing and the doctor has given him only months to live, so perhaps Dr. Bridget Forrester could offer a second opinion? And Thorne will join the rest of the family in rallying around their ailing patriarch. Unless, of course, the characters are instead returning for a funeral? B&B supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk had fans worried when he posted a photo of Eric’s portrait hanging above the fireplace and wrote: “Filming 10 shows this week, and let’s just say it’s going to be very emotional for everyone.”
Could the soap really kill off John McCook’s Eric Forrester, one of only two original characters still remaining from the very first episode? (Katherine Kelly Lang’s Brooke is the other.) We’ll all just have to stay tuned and find out because they’re not letting anything leak out!
