Ashley Jones Mourns the Loss of Her Beloved Dog Oscar
Please join us in sending love to soap star Ashley Jones as she mourns the death of her beloved dog Oscar. The actress, best known to daytime audiences as Megan on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, Bridget on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, and Parker on GENERAL HOSPITAL, shared the sad news in an Instagram post.
“Everyone thinks they have the best dog and none of them are wrong!” Jones declared. “But Oscar was pretty special. We loved this dog. My little buddy sat next to me during the hardest times of my life and never left my side. And was a true friend to [my son] Hayden.
“Oscar stuck around until he knew we were really gonna be okay,” she continued. “Grief is not a sign of weakness, but the price you pay for love. Run free, my friend. And tell Scottie I miss him every day.”
The post included a lovely video set to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole featuring photos and clips of Oscar as an adorable little pup, cuddling and playing with Hayden as the little boy (and Oscar!) grew up over the years, and also some with his loving mommy.
