Valentine’s Day is the day of love, so it’s only fitting that former soap star Bobbie Eakes (ex-Macy, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; Krystle, ALL MY CHILDREN) chose Feb. 14 to release her romantic new song!

Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Eakes revealed that she and her singing partner, Dutch crooner Jeffrey Schenk, dropped their latest collaboration: a cover of the 1977 ballad “Sometimes When We Touch,” originally written and performed by pop-rock artist Dan Hill. “Happy Valentine’s Day! Our new duet is available to stream on all music platforms today worldwide!”

Eakes and Schenk first connected several years ago when he contacted her about traveling to Amsterdam to perform a live show with him. Since then, the singing partners have also professionally recorded studio music. In 2023, the duo released their versions of “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” (by Elton John and Kiki Dee) and “Love to Love You,” which Eakes first recorded with her former B&B co-star, Jeff Trachta (ex-Thorne), in 1994 for their Bold And Beautiful Duets album.

A day before “Sometimes When We Touch” dropped, the actress teased the duo’s newest recording in an Instagram Story. “It’s my favorite one that I’ve done with Jeffrey,” she shared, speaking from her dressing room on the set of a movie she’s currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia. “I think you’ll like it. I hope so! Stream it and find out!”

Eakes and Schenk’s version of “Sometimes When We Touch” is available now on Spotify and Apple Music as well as other streaming platforms.
