Brad Sanders Is Back as Clarence on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!
Get ready for another blast from the past when Clarence returns to your screens! Brad Sanders will be back as his soap-loving character when he makes a special appearance on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS in the episode airing on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Longtime viewers will recognize Sanders as “Clarence,” his character who was always stylishly well-dressed in various hats as he provided summaries of the action in Genoa City every week. Later, he also did the same for Y&R’s sister soap, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. The popular updates also earned Sanders two Daytime Emmy Award nominations in the New Approaches to Daytime Entertainment!
As the owner and president of Babysitters Productions, Sanders produced the “Clarence Update” as well as many other syndicated radio programs, including “It’s Your World,” a radio soap opera that aired on the Tom Joyner Morning Show for over 16 years.
Sanders has made cameo appearances previously on both Y&R and B&B, and can also be seen in episodes of shows like LAVERNE & SHIRLEY, BENSON, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, BLACK LIGHTNING, and THE WONDER YEARS. On the big screen, the actor’s credits include Brewster’s Millions, Bad Boys for Life, and the upcoming film adaptation of the musical The Color Purple.
