Brytni Sarpy Shares Her Beautiful Birthday Wish

When Brytni Sarpy (Elena, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS; ex-Valerie, GENERAL HOSPITAL) celebrated her birthday on Sept. 21, she made a very special wish that she shared with everyone on social media. “My birthday wish was that this planet, and especially this country, start focusing on the bigger picture,” she expressed. “And we are the bigger picture. Collectively.

“We cannot sustain upholding the hate that we were taught in order to isolate and pit us against each other,” Sarpy continued. “We cannot continue valuing monetary gains at the expense of the livelihood of our fellow humans; it only amplifies our feelings of inadequacy. We cannot move into this new decade with the idea that we live on a planet that we can continually pollute and mistreat without dire consequences.”

The Y&R actress concluded her birthday wish by suggesting how we can all help make this dream come true. “Start loving each other more, continue helping each other more, be better,” she declared. “Do better. For you, for us, for this planet.”

Wise words and a birthday wish we would dearly love to see come true. But only time will tell.
