Michael Damian Returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for an “Extended Stay!”

Tags:

It’s another blast from the past when Michael Damian returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS on Thursday, Sept. 28! And this time, the soap is promising that Danny’s visit is for an “extended stay!”

Damian debuted as Danny Romalotti back in 1980 and remained with the soap until 1998. In the years that followed, the actor has reprised the role numerous times, his most recent being in March 2023 for Y&R’s 50th anniversary celebration.

In addition to singing on Y&R, Damian enjoyed a successful recording career, releasing five albums and three top 40 hits, including his number-one smash “Rock On.” In recent years, the actor and musician has stepped behind the camera, directing family films like Moondance Alexander, Flicka 2, Marley & Me: The Puppy Years, and A Princess for Christmas.

Damian recently wrapped production on the sequel to his Hallmark holiday film The Christmas Waltz, which is naturally titled Paris Christmas Waltz, as it was shot in Paris! He also produced the Lindsay Lohan Netflix movie Falling for Christmas, which was directed by his wife, Janeen. And they are teaming up with Lohan again for another film, Irish Wish, which will premiere on Netflix in 2024.

With Heather’s return complicating Daniel’s rekindled relationship with Lily, he could probably use some fatherly advice. And Danny could also find himself rekindling his own romance with Christine, now that she and Paul have ended their marriage. Then again, Phyllis might once again set her sights on the guy! Since Damian is sticking around this time, who knows what drama Danny will get mixed up in this time?

Stay tuned!
