Michelle Stafford Thanks Her Fans and Friends
After her stepfather, Ed Lee, passed away on March 8, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) was touched by the tribute given to him by the Los Angeles Kings hockey team. (Lee worked as an off-ice official covering their games for over four decades.)
The actress also shared a photo of Lee and her mother, Paulette, on Instagram to express her own feelings. “We are all lucky if we find a love like this,” she wrote. If you do… hold it. Take care of it. I am so lucky and blessed to have had this beautiful man in my life since I was 12.”
Between her years on Y&R and her run as Nina on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Stafford has earned legions of loyal fans who shared their condolences in the comments of her posts on Instagram and X/Twitter. And, of course, her friends and co-stars from both soaps also sent their love.
“Time moves on… don’t it?” Stafford mused in a follow-up post. “I want to thank you all for the outpouring of love and condolences. You are all so beautiful. I’m actually blown away by all the love I have received from you all here. The love from my friends. From my coworkers at Y&R and some of my old coworkers at GH. Thank you for the care. Thank you so much. You will never know just how much it means to me.”
Please join us in continuing to send love to Stafford and her entire family during this difficult time.
