Vail Bloom Returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!
There’s going to be some more drama for Lily and Daniel when Vail Bloom returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Heather for another visit! But how much drama will depend on the reason for her trip back to Genoa City!
Bloom took over the role of Heather Stevens in July 2007 and exited three years later in April 2010. The role was recast with ALL MY CHILDREN’s Eden Riegel (Bianca) and AS THE WORLD TURNS’ Jennifer Landon (Gwen) in the years that followed but when the character returned to Y&R in February 2023, Bloom had stepped back into her shoes. And now Soap Opera Digest is reporting that she will be back again beginning on Friday, July 14.
When Heather last visited Genoa City, her relationship with Daniel was on the rocks and he tried to show her that he was a changed man. But she broke his heart by revealing that she had fallen in love with someone else. Heather then returned to Portugal with Lucy. While Lucy popped back to support her dad during his mother’s funeral, Heather has remained overseas.
Since his own return to Genoa City, Daniel has reconnected with Lily, and the exes have rekindled some old feelings and begun a tentative new relationship together. Lily has been all for the reunion, but how will Heather react? Is she still happy in her new relationship or might that have fizzled out and she’s looking to get back together with Daniel?
There’s been no indication yet as to just how long Bloom’s visit will last this time around, so stay tuned to see what kind of drama Heather stirs up!
