Zuleyka Silver Cast as Audra on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS
Please join us in welcoming Zuleyka Silver to the cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! The soap has announced the actress will be playing the role of Audra Charles, and will first appear in the episode scheduled to air on Friday, Sept. 23.
Viewers might recognize Silver from appearances in primetime shows like CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, THE MENTALIST, HAWAII 5-0, CODE BLACK, YOUNG SHELDON, 9-1-1, or her recurring appearances as Mrs. Guillermo in skits on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!. Y&R isn’t actually her daytime debut, though. The actress’ IMDb page lists an episode of sister soap THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL where she played a model back in 2013!
Audra is a high-powered executive who is lured to town by one of Genoa City’s business icons, though that’s as much as Y&R would reveal about the new character at this time. So which business icon brings her to town, and for what purpose? Could Adam be looking to use her to get revenge on his family? Or could she be another part of Phyllis’ plan to take down Diane? There are no shortage of possibilities!
