Eddie Alderson Shares a Beautiful Birthday Message for Big Sis Kristen Alderson
Soap fans know the Alderson siblings have always been close going back all the way to when they both starred on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. And they remain tight still, with Eddie Alderson (Matthew) sharing a very special message to big sister Kristen Alderson (Starr) on her birthday. “Happy birthday to the best big sister I could ever ask for (even though a lot of the time I feel like your older brother),” he declared on Instagram. “Either way, we have each other’s backs through everything life throws our way. I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become and how you’re always striving to grow. You deserve the world.”
In the photo he posted with his message, you can clearly see the “No Surrender” band around Eddie’s wrist, which was his mantra during his battle with lymphoma cancer for many years. It’s the title of a Bruce Springsteen song, and you can also see on Eddie’s other arm the tattoo he got after having the rock star write it on his arm after a concert. And as he said, Kristen, who had recently wrapped her run as Kiki on GENERAL HOSPITAL, had his back the entire time.
