THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Stars Give Back!
The holidays are the season for giving, and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) gathered some of her castmates from THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS to do some shopping for Christmas presents for families in need. “Another year,” she shared on social media, another extremely successful Y&R/NAACP/National Action Network Toy Drive!
“I started this in 2020 with my friend, Reverend Fred Shaw, who is the president of the NAACP Inglewood branch,” she continued. “This year was our most successful year ever! Thank you to all of the folks at Y&R who donated (you know who you are). From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I work with some beautiful people.”
Stafford also appreciated her co-stars Brytni Sarpy (Elena), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), Amelia Heinle (Victoria), Sean Dominic (Nate), Bryton James (Devon), Christel Khalil (Lily), and Lauralee Bell (Christine) for joining her and Y&R publicist Matt Kane for helping to arrange everything. “Thank you to Susie at Big Lots for the discount so we could get more toys for the kids,” she declared happily. Thank you to CBS for your very sizable donation this year. Thank you so much to Salvation Army Inglewood for opening your door to us and finding the families that are most in need. Thank you for your selfless work.
“What a beautiful day,” Stafford concluded. “I hope some little babies will be a little happier on Christmas Day. We were certainly happy to make this happen today. The holiday is truly for giving. We can never forget that.”
