Brandon Barash’s Sweet First Anniversary Message for His Wife
It’s hard to believe it, but it’s been a whole year since daytime star Brandon Barash (Stefan, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Johnny, GENERAL HOSPITAL) married Isabella DeVoto in a Great Gatsby-themed wedding! To commemorate their first twelve months as husband and wife, the Barashes seemingly took an anniversary trip to Prague, as the actor shared a selfie from the Czech Republic capital on his Instagram page to wish his bride a happy anniversary!
“Celebrated a few anniversaries over the weekend,” the DAYS star wrote. “Mi vida, mi corazón, mi siempre. Happy one year, amor.” The sweet translation of Barash’s Spanish phrase is “My life, my heart, my always.”
Barash and Isabella married on Dec. 17, 2022, with the actor’s daughter, Harper, serving as a junior bridesmaid! It was Harper — whom Barash shares with ex-wife Kirsten Storms (Maxie, GH) — who introduced her dad to her former teacher, so it was only fitting that the tween played a part in the ceremony!
Isa replied to her husband’s beautiful message with one of her own. “Feliz aniversario, mi amor!” she wrote in the comments. “Te amo.” Her message translates to, “Happy anniversary, my love. I love you.”
The sweet sentiments honored Isabella’s Hispanic background, as does the name the couple gave to their baby boy, who was born in September. “Joaquin Lee Barash arrived on the planet on Sept. 15, 2023,” the proud dad shared in announcing his son’s birth on Instagram. “A mighty name for a mighty boy… to honor my (departed but never gone) father, Jerry Lee Barash, as well as my wife’s Hispanic heritage.”
