DAYS OF OUR LIVES Preview: A Trip Back in Time

Tragedy in the present inspires a look to the past this week on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. And as Doug and Julie remember Tom and Alice, Stephanie receives shocking information about Everett, and Ava fears for Tripp and Wendy’s lives as they’re held prisoner!

Jada was naturally stunned to discover that Everett, the ex with whom Stephanie has reconnected, is her ex, Bobby! “This man is my ex-husband!” she insists, unable to believe her eyes. And when he protests, she declares forcefully: “You are Bobby Stein!” Jada even offers up a photo of her and Bobby on her phone so that Stephanie and Everett can see that she’s not crazy.

Naturally, Stephanie wants to know what’s really going on and Steve is more than happy to help. “I did some research,” he informs his daughter, handing over papers including birth records. “Now the bad news.” And whatever Stephanie learns, Jada warns her that she can’t trust this man calling himself Everett. “Stephanie, run!” she urges.

Officer Goldman told Tripp and Wendy that she needed to get them to a secure location for their own safety, but Ava realizes the truth and fears the worst! “My son is missing,” she tells the police, “and I know Clyde has him!” Goldman has locked Wendy and Tripp up in a room in a warehouse somewhere, but can anyone find them in time?

As they survey the burned-out wreckage of the Horton home with Maggie, Doug and Julie are inspired to share memories of the Hortons and their beginnings. Which naturally starts with Tom meeting and falling in love with Alice to eventually make her his wife. (Played in specially-created flashback scenes by Zach Chyz and Sydney K. Smith.) “I’ll be loving you always,” Doug sings to his wife as she embraces him.
