What Happened to Paige on DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Paige wasn’t on DAYS OF OUR LIVES long but the young woman is still driving storyline years later. The character was introduced back in March 2014 but met a tragic end in September 2015. Actress True O’Brien won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress for her work as Paige. The character continued to appear through October 2015 and made a special appearance in the 2017 Halloween episode. And now O’Brien set to reprise the role in August 2020.
The daughter of Eve Donovan and Eduardo Hernandez, Paige Larson arrived in Salem in March 2014 and quickly developed a connection with JJ Deveraux. But when her mother arrived on the scene, their relationship hit some snags and they split up. Paige began dating Cole Hines, but JJ begged her for another chance and they reconciled. Cole tried to insist that JJ was only going to break her heart again, but she wouldn’t listen, so he teamed up with Eve to help split the couple apart. When Paige discovered that Cole had planted drugs on JJ to frame him, she was furious and warned him to stay away.
Unfortunately, Paige then discovered that her mother and JJ had had a torrid affair, and confronted him about it at her birthday party. Disillusioned, Paige wanted nothing more to do with either Eve or JJ and instead struck up a relationship with Kyle to make JJ jealous. Of course, since Kyle was a notorious drug dealer, thankfully they weren’t together long.
Page slowly rekindled things with JJ and was a witness to Chad DiMera’s fight with Serena shortly before Serena was found murdered. As the mystery deepened, Paige called JJ to tell him something, but when he arrived at her dorm, he found her dead with a tie around her neck. Eve was absolutely shattered by her daughter’s murder, and while Chad was initially the prime suspect, it was eventually revealed that Ben Weston was the Necktie Killer.
Following her murder, Paige has appeared in visions and nightmares, and Eve was so driven by her need for vengeance that she abducted Ben and tried to turn him back into a killer! Stay tuned to DAYS to see what happens next!
