Wally Kurth Promises Judi Evans Is Returning to DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Fans of DAYS OF OUR LIVES were stunned when the soap’s recent time jump revealed that popular character Adrienne Kiriakis had died! Recent episodes brought actress Judi Evans back to the screen for some flashbacks to explain exactly how the character had met her maker, but all that did was make some fans miss her all over again. However, longtime co-star Wally Kurth (Justin) took to social media to reassure them. “Rest assured, Judi Evans is coming back,” he teased on Twitter.

During episodes that aired during the week of Jan. 20, it was revealed that Adrienne had died after crashing her car while trying to rush Sarah to the hospital so she could give birth. And while Will has spent a year blaming himself for causing the accident by looking at his phone while driving, it was actually a drunk Maggie who had gotten behind the wheel and ran Adrienne off the road.

While Kurth didn’t specify exactly how Judi Evans would come back to DAYS, given the soap’s history there are plenty of options. There could be additional flashbacks, the actress could return as look-alike character Bonnie Lockhart, the infamous Dr. Rolf could bring Adrienne back to life somehow… or Adrienne might not actually be dead after all. Honestly, in Salem, anything is possible!
